After years of our Senior Team having to deal with each email at least twice and in some cases four times where multiple devices were used by one person, we finally took the plunge and decided to upgrade our whole company wide email facilities.
We had put this off for so long due to the fact that we perceived it would be a very long and laborious job and would no doubt involve some downtime and loss of old emails and folder systems that were currently in use. We were wrong. Very wrong. Our switch over to Office 365 has been handled by Reuben and his team at IT-Works. And, in a nutshell, was seamless.
The team arrived on site at 5pm on a Friday evening just as we finished for the day and by the time staff arrived in to work on Saturday morning, the email system was back up and running, with all old emails and folders in place and no loss of any emails ‘in the cloud!’!!!
With a project of this size, there was the inevitable couple of technical niggles, which were sorted promptly and with the minimum of fuss. Our emails now synchronise across any and all devices we use, saving time, the most precious commodity we have!

BodyKraft had been struggling with poor company-wide email optimisation – as their old system and procedure led to Senior Staff members wasting time replying to emails that had already been replied to. The issue was when staff members used different devices to answer or send emails, it would not pass over to a different device. We updated their email facilities across the entire company to Microsoft’s Office 365 – which is based in the Cloud. This allowed all members of staff to keep their old email data, and access them from any device with an internet connection. This optimisation of their services made for a much faster, clearer internal communication system. We eliminated any worry of down time and loss of business through doing the upgrade out of office hours at the weekend. This avoided any interruption to the running of the business.
The result was a more productive, optimised communication system within the company. It increased productivity for all members of staff – as they could now clearly communicate with each other via email without replying to duplicate emails. The automatic synchronisation between devices directly saved time for all members of staff. The changeover to a Cloud based system allowed them to keep their old data – even the way individuals had their folders set up remained the same. This made for a seamless transfer over to the Cloud, and a process that the client was very happy with.
